The Hershey Lodge Project

The commission for the Hershey Lodge, through the Lynden Gallery, has been completed and the paintings delivered. The work is in the lobby area at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I worked on the drawings for the paintings from the lot adjacent to the Hershey Gardens. I met lots of nice people there in that field overlooking the park. The drawings are large, 30x44". I propped them on my Toyota truck gate as I worked, thus the truck is really a traveling easel. I tried to capture the noise of the coasters and screams of the riders that could be heard as I worked.

I will be exhibiting, at Lynden Gallery, seventeen recent drawings in the month of September and into October. The Artist Reception will be on 09/25/09, a Friday evening. I hope to see you there. A catalog will be available. Lisa Clemens is the owner and operator.

Studio Exhibition Invitation

THE STUDIO will be hosting the first, FIRST FRIDAY in Manchester with an Exhibition of my new work and slightly old paintings, prints, drawings.

The weekend will unfold as follows:
THURSDAY, JUNE 4th: A "preview" in the studio. I will be working that day as well. If you would like to attend the preview, call 717 542-1407, or email.
FRIDAY, JUNE 5TH: The first First Friday in Manchester will be held from 5:00 to 9:00. All are welcome.
SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH: A private party, 2:00 until 7:00, by invitation only.
SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH: Studio open house from 2 till 5.
